Payment methods and returns

Questions about payment methods, invoicing, order cancellation, refunds, returns

•    Transfer by CB/Visa/Mastercard/American Express : Your transactions are protected and pass only by the protected server of our bank.
•    Bank transfer : The bank details will be sent to you when the order is confirmed. In order to find and process your order quickly, it is imperative to indicate the order number on the wording of your transfer. The payment must reach us within 15 days before automatic cancellation of the order.

Your invoice can be accessed directly from your customer account in the "My Orders" section.

You have the possibility to cancel or modify your order in its entirety when it has not yet been prepared by our warehouse. You have about 30 minutes to cancel. To do so, you just need to contact one of our advisors at 0033 388 40 31 61 (choice 1) from Monday to Friday from 8H to 17H (not surcharged).

Your refund will be made within 7 days after Berthold Marx has received the product(s) concerned
- If your payment was made by credit card or American Express, your refund will be made to the credit card used for the payment under the wording "Berthold Marx".
- If your payment was made by bank transfer, your refund will be made by bank transfer after transmission of your bank details.

All return requests must be made via the "Contact Us" form accessible via the Help and Contact section (Subject: Returns). Specify in the body of the message the order number, the article number(s) and the reason for the return. 

For the gas springs, they will be neither taken back nor exchanged, because they have made regarding the specific Force needed. Each Gas spring force can be different. The right of retraction does not apply to products made "to measure" or "on demand" like gas springs.

For other products: accepted within 14 days of receipt of the order, beyond this period Berthold Marx reserves the right to refuse the return. The shipping costs of the return will be charged to the sender (exchange or refund). The products must be in their original packaging and not used.

We reserve the right not to take back the products in the following cases:
- If the 14-day period is exceeded.
- If the product (including the accessories that compose it) is damaged after opening due to the responsibility of the consumer (inadequate packaging, damage, flooding, etc.).
- If the products of the order are personalized and made according to your specifications (gas springs).
- If the value of the product is damaged because the product packaging has been opened and used or installed.
- If any of the product's accessories (tips, tubes, brackets, etc.) are lost or missing.
